no volunteers for a new Press Officer this season. Please send Away
scorecards to me until further notice (happy to accept scanned Away
scorecards instead if preferred). New scorecards have been printed but
please make sure the name and address is changed from Sean Pickin's

Handicap Singles Series 1 - Results

The new season started
this week with the Handicap Singles Series 1 at Essex Road. It was a
great evening of table tennis, expertly organised by Patrick Garlick.
There was a fantastic entry of 25 players, including a very welcome
addition of a number of Basingstoke's most promising Junior players. Click

Essex Road - Queens Room

Well done to George
Hellens and his team of volunteers for their superb work on the
transformation of the Queens Room at Essex Road, it is looking FAB!
Along with a much improved floor surface in the KG room, lead by the
efforts of Patrick Garlick, Essex Road looks all set for the new season
and players will have the opportunity to try out the facilities in
tonight's (Weds 17th Sept) first Handicap Singles Series.

ahead of next week's first Handicap Series Singles Series at Essex Road,
run by Patrick Garlick. Many players have already confirmed they will be
taking part, it's sure to be a great event to kick-off the new season.

3 v 1 and 1 v 3 in these weeks have been reversed. Also please note that
Minitec Profiles are now Minitec 'A' and Minitec Powerlocks are Minitec

Dave Kimberley has been
working hard on the fixtures for the new season.
Most pages on the web are now updated with this new information.
A couple of points worth noting for the new
season:
1) Minitec Profiles and Minitec Profiles are both moving their home
matches to the Queens Room at Essex Road, home night is alternate Monday
nights for both teams
2) Queens 'D' have changed their home night to Tuesday.
